I’ve tasted The Co-operative Food’s Artisan Breads… should you put them in the trolley or leave them on the shelf?

The Co-operative Food’s blurb reads: ‘ We have worked with a team of expert bakers to create a range of mouth-watering breads.’

OK: Most of the posh baked breads found on the supermarkets shelves, rarely measure up to the ones that you buy from the Artisan bakery shops. Most look the real deal, but the taste is such that you wish you’d saved your hard-earned cash – and left them on the shelf!  Not so with The Co-operative Food’s Artisan breads – for they are only a crumb away from the ones that you can buy at the very best bakery shops.

Tasting notes:  Please see below for the tasting notes for the  Red Leicester & Pumpkin Seed Bread,  Green Olive Bread, Mature Cheddar & Jalapeno Bread and Beetroot & Apple Bread.

Can you eat  them?  Phew! The packet’s Allergy advice reads ‘This product contains or may contain traces of Nuts, Sesame Seeds, Wheat, Gluten, Barley, Egg, Oats, Milk, Mustard, Rye, Soya, Sulphites. These products have been prepared in area that may have handled Crustaceans and fish.

Should you put them in the trolley? Absolutely. They are  a must try, that’s provided that you’re not allergic to their allergens.
