Tasted: Gordon’s Elderflower Gin

imgres

By Martin Isark
Labelled Gordon’s with a spot of elderflower and that is exactly what this Gin delvers. End of.

The product:
It is regular Gordon’s London Original 37.5%  Gin blended with natural elderflower flavouring. The elderflower tempers the pungent juniper notes of the original version which elevates from a mere G&T Gin to something that can also drunk neat.

The verdict:
This Gordon’s flavoured gin delivers a smooth sip with subtle elderflower lick when drunk straight-up. Perfect for sipping, on the rocks or a dry Martini, but the elderflower notes are drowned when you add a tonic.
