Tasted: Really Not Dairy Roasted Garlic Mayo

Really moreish with strong roasted garlic flavours. Great on  both sweet and regular potatoes.

The product
Mayonnaise is not usually suitable for vegans as it contains a small amount of eggs. This range of mayonnaise like regular mayonaise has rapeseed oil as it’s main ingredient. Indeed it contains a lot of the same ingredients. Leaving out the eggs seem to give it a thinner texture. So, how does it measure up when paired with food?

The verdict
You’d use this in exactly the same way as you would an egg based mayonnaise – with a salad, in a sandwich or my favourite way, in a potato salad. Out of the range I really, really loved this roasted garlic flavour. I found it quite addictive! If you’re not a garlic lover it’s maybe not for you as it’s strong tasting with roasted garlic accounting for 5% of the ingredients. For people who are avoiding dairy who love garlic though I’d say it’s a must try.
