We would all like to cook like Heston, but most of us don’t have the time, three Michelin stars or a gadget laden food lab. Moreover, his Fat Duck restaurant is a two month wait for a table and the price per head is a trolley load of food.
Want a restaurant quality pie tonight? Heston Pies from Waitrose are on the shelves for tonight – not in two months time! They are not bland and safe like most pies on the shelves, but deliver an excellent flavour combination that tantalises your tastebuds and has your palate asking for more!
Please see below for Heston to the rescue for pie lovers.
Not forgetting:
Waitrose Heston from Waitrose, Steak, Ale & Kombu Japanese Seaweed, Pie
Pastry, Meat and the sauce are restaurant quality. Want a steak pie? Put one of these in the trolley. When cooked it was difficult to get the pastry out of the foil case.

I tried Heston’s vanilla misannoaye’ and also his cabernet sauvignon misannoaye’ last night with chips.. it was absolutely disgusting. The vanilla one tasted like ice cream and the red wine one like plasticine/chemicals. Please save yourselves the expensive and avoid this gimmick. I think the flavours might work with specific food types, but it would certainly involve planning your meal around the condiment a weird principle. The fact that in my local Waitrose there were over 100 bottles of this stuff reduced from a33.00 to 29p says it all.
