Super quick to prepare. These are versatile, tasty noodles great in soups or stir-frys.
Ramen – until now my associations with this food has been that of ultra cheap packets of quick cook noodles that you sprinkle a flavour sachet into. Loaded with msg and not really very filling, it’s the sort of thing I ate a lot of as a student!
I have learned that there is ramen and there is ramen. I must say I’m hooked. This King Soba range are both healthy (no nasty flavour sachets) and filling. I’ve tried them in both stir-frys and soups. The secret to great ramen is to cook the noodles, then rinse in cold water before adding to the main dish. Thankfully they are still really quick to cook, taking just 3 minutes. Being able to have a huge bowl of healthy tasty food on the table in under 15 minutes really is fast food at it’s best.
