Makes a fantastic moist and nutty gluten-free cake, and is very easy to put together!
We all know Honeybuns cakes are to die for, so what about their first foray into cake mixes? The mix requires you to add butter and eggs (I’m sure dairy-free spread would work too), mix together and bake for 20 minutes.
Although the ground almonds make it very nutty, the sorghum flour evens out the texture so it doesn’t taste “free from” anything. This makes a rich and decadent cake – I made it richer still by melting a bar of dark chocolate into the batter. Lots of flavour possibilities to experiment with…
