Although chocolate, pears and ginger are common enough ingredients to pair together in a dessert I’ve never come across them in a chocolate bar. They are an inspired choice though for this limited edition Christmas bar. The ginger is pretty subtle and it’s the flavour of the sweet, perfumed chewy pear pieces that is upfront providing a nice contract to the rich, bitter dark chocolate.

Ingredients: Cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, pears granules 10%, (pear juice, apple puree, cane sugar, glucose syrup, rice flour, cocoa butter, oat fibre, natural flavour, gelling agent: pectin, food acid: citric acid), ginger granules 3%, emulsifier: soya lecithin (non GM), natural flavour: pear and vanilla.
