Tasted: Nakd Cocoa Orange Bits
By Gluten-free Sam
Chewy, soft and sweet, these are chocolately enough to keep even the most die hard chocoholic happy.
Nakd bars have long been a favourite among coeliacs, and these new “bits” don’t let the side down! They take dates, cashews, raisins and cocoa, which are then smooshed together and cut into little bitesize treats. A bag is 130g and I found that lasted me for about 3 snacks.
These taste even better than the Nakd bars – I guess the fact that you can pop them in your mouth makes them feel a bit like eating rolos. They do contain a lot of sugar, but it’s all naturally occurring fruit sugars, which when balanced out with the fat and fibre from the nuts, keeps you from overdoing the snacking. They really fill you up!
